I’m a social media manager and copywriter and I can’t bring myself to write this section in the third person.
I’ve worked as a journalist and editor and as a freelance writer. I’ve been published in the pages of U of T Mississauga’s The Medium, Medium Magazine (which I co-founded), Sharp Magazine, Spezzatino Food Magazine, and at the U of T Mississauga website.
For over a year and a half now, I have been responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of diverse social media campaigns. I have also written website copy, promotional copy, eblasts, industry blogs, magazine articles, and much more.
I’m also a strong believer in self-improvement. That’s what the blog portion of this site is mostly about: self-improvement and writing and editing, with all the subtopics that this may encompass.
Admittedly, these topics are many, so I will do my best to focus on a few things I believe will make me better man and a better writer. They are: discipline, health, style, meditation, travel, self-defence, and self-reliance.
To make the site easier to browse, I’ve created a separate page for my published work (click on “Portfolio”) and another one for my blog entries (also above, and titled, appropriately enough, “Blog.”) (Please note I haven’t updated my portfolio in a long time, as I’m not looking for a new job right now. I know I should, though. Update the portfolio, that is.)
